Sunday, 10th May 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join us for a working bee at Jenny’s garden in West Footscray. Get your hands dirty, meet new people, and learn about permaculture!

Jenny has an amazing permaculture garden, but it needs a revamp. On the day we will:

  • fix and replant some of the garden beds
  • learn how to make a bog garden and graft citrus with Scott Hitchens – founding member of Werribee Heritage Orchard and POW
  • enjoy a simple lunch provided by Jenny.

To manage the day well and keep everyone safe, please book into the shifts you want to attend at Humanitix. This includes booking for lunch.

Where: West Footscray – we will send you the address after you register.

Shifts:

  • 10 am to 12 pm: working shift and bog garden demonstration.
  • 12 pm to 1 pm: lunch.
  • 1 pm to 3 pm: working shift and citrus grafting demonstration.
