Sunday skillshare – olive preserving

It’s olive season! Our May skillshare is how to preserve olives 3 different ways:

  1. brine
  2. water and brine
  3. dry salt method.

Learn about the methods and have a go at doing each one yourself. You’ll take home 3 batches of olives to finish the process and enjoy later.

This event is free. We’ll provide the olives but you must bring:

  • two 2 litre plastic buckets
  • clean cloth bag or old pillow slip
  • one kilo of salt – not iodised salt.
