Formidable Vegetable has played events from tiny house concerts to festivals, from Woodford to Glastonbury and is committed to planetary sustainability and regeneration. Their music is fun, danceable and cheeky as well as profound. Suitable for children of all ages. This house concert is an opportunity for the permaculture community, friends and families to get together and have fun and mark the end of a challenging year. From a small town in Western Australia to the glory of the World stage, Formidable Vegetable is sowing the garden of our minds with the seeds of change to ‘turnip the beets’ for people, plants and the planet.

Independently founded by ukulele-strumming ecological troubadour Charlie Mgee, the band grew their organic, yet dedicated following over the years on a mission to inspire local action for global issues and now find themselves firmly planted in the fertile soils of the growing regenerative movements worldwide.

Formidable Vegetable have played this house venue once before and we vowed to repeat it. So here is your chance! The band is on its way to the Woodford Folk Festival and we are harvesting them en route. Book early and prepare to bop your socks off.

Housekeeping

• The venue is a private house with normal domestic bathrooms. The toilets are available if required but please ensure children are toileted before you come.
• Bring a picnic and a cushion or a folding chair. Please take all your rubbish home. No alcohol please! Venue is a private house and garden so please be respectful.
• Parking along the edge of the neighbouring reserve. Please follow signs and respect cordoned-off areas.
