June 19, 2022
Please check with the event organiser, as due to social distancing guidelines, event may be cancelled or may happen online instead.
Sunday, 19th Jun 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

While the garden is not doing much and it’s cold and wet outside it’s the ideal time to make sure your tools are sharp and in good condition.

Come along to our winter tool maintenance workshop and learn how to make sure your tools are in top condition for the coming year.

You will get hands on experience sharpening tools under expert guidance as well as general tips on how to maintain everything from a garden trowel to a chainsaw. Please bring along something you would like to sharpen.

We will also have a show and tell so bring along your favourite tool and tell us why you like it.We will have our regular swap table at the start. Bring along any excess produce you may have and share it with the group. Take something else home with you in return! It’s a way to swap your surplus homegrown produce and gardening extras. Items may include fruit, vegetables, herbs, eggs, seeds, seedlings, gardening tools, worm juice, gardening magazines, clean egg cartons, jars, sour dough starter, home baked bread or other goods. It’s always inspiring to see what people bring along to swap.

We ask you to please book your tickets online for free, and a $5 cash donation per person (Kids free) on the day to help pay for venue hire is appreciated. (If you are not able to contribute financially you are still very welcome)
