The November Gathering will be at Gerhard Grasser’s Hallston farm. We will talk about the Regenerative Agricultural practices being used and their benefits. From grazing management to the long-term revegetation work, the effect this has on the soil and microclimate will be discussed and demonstrated. Full address will be sent the week before the event

Gerhard combines science with validated traditional management practices. Monitoring, measuring and managing soils and plants, he makes use of high-quality mature compost and actively aerated compost teas. As an experienced practitioner, Gerhard advises people on how to improve soil health to provide healthy plants, animals, people and environment.

Please bring your own chair, food and drink for morning tea and dress appropriately for the weather. Don’t forget bring your inquiring mind.

We will have our regular swap table at the start of the gathering. Bring along any excess produce you may have and share it with the group. Take something else home with you in return! It’s a way to swap your surplus homegrown produce and gardening extras. Items may include fruit, vegetables, herbs, eggs, seeds, seedlings, gardening tools, worm juice, gardening magazines, clean egg cartons, jars, sour dough starter, home baked bread or other goods. It’s always inspiring to see what people bring along to swap.
