A great opportunity to provide for our food and garden needs, avoid wasting excess and learn from chatting with others who share your enthusiasm for home production. No need for money, just a willingness to share and contribute time and inspiration

What you can share or swap

Fruit, vegetables, herbs, potted plants, flowers, seedlings, cuttings, seeds, your own preserves, clean jars, eggs, cooking or garden books, magazines, egg cartons and anything else that might be useful for garden or kitchen.

It is helpful to label seeds, seedlings/cuttings and preserves and put dates on eggs.

There are 12 – 15 regular attenders while others of the 80 or so people who receive our monthly notices either via Facebook or an email list come occasionally when they have something to share. This means creates a great learning environment for expanding our knowledge about growing methods, unusual plants and how to use them.
